This Acceptable Use Policy (“AUP”) applies to everyone who uses LotThread. It is part of our Terms of Service. The goal is simple: keep the service safe, lawful, and reliable for everyone.
1. Prohibited activities
You agree not to, and not to allow anyone to:
- use the service in violation of any law or regulation;
- infringe the intellectual-property or privacy rights of others;
- upload malware, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to the service, other accounts, or our systems;
- probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of the service except under an authorized security-testing arrangement (see below);
- interfere with or disrupt the service, or place an unreasonable load on it (including excessive automated requests);
- reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code, except where permitted by law;
- resell or provide the service to third parties except as expressly permitted;
- use the service to store or transmit unlawful, harassing, or fraudulent content; or
- falsify traceability, production, or recall records, or use the service to deceive regulators, auditors, customers, or the public.
2. Security research
We welcome responsible security research. If you believe you have found a vulnerability, please report it to legal@lotthread.com and give us a reasonable chance to remediate before public disclosure. Do not access other customers' data or degrade the service while testing.
3. Enforcement
We may investigate suspected violations and may suspend or terminate access to protect the service, our customers, or third parties. Where practical we will give notice, but we may act immediately for serious or ongoing risks.
4. Reporting abuse
To report abuse or a violation of this policy, contact legal@lotthread.com.
